Atlanta Bathroom Remodeling Company Owner Is Ready For NKBA Certification

Sterling Works is one of Atlanta’s kitchen and bath remodeling experts, and their owner Philip Trapkin is preparing to sit for an important certification. The National Kitchen and Bath Association, NKBA, is a non-profit organization that promotes professionalism and craftsmanship in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry.

Membership is not necessary, but Trapkin sees the benefits of being a member of the organization. “There are lots of positive benefits, including trade shows, a magazine and networking with other remodeling professionals throughout the U.S. This is a chance to take the business to the next level for ourselves and our customers,” said Trapkin.

Trapkin will sit the exam for the associate level. This is the first step in the NKBA’s ladder of certifications. Each new level features a new, more comprehensive and difficult exam. For his part, Trapkin is nervous and excited. “It has been a long time since I had to study for a test,” Trapkin said with a small chuckle, “but I am going to be ready. I have my crews continuing to provide the best in restoration services to the people of Atlanta and surrounding communities. This will be another step to insure that we are the best Atlanta Kitchen Remodeler.”

Trapkin refers to his remodeling service. Sterling Works does remodeling for some of the finer homes and neighborhoods in and around Atlanta. Besides kitchen and bath, the company also does special projects such as pool decks and complete home remodeling.

Meanwhile, Trapkin continues to prepare for the exam to be taken later on this August. Once passed, he qualifies for the next level of accreditation and will be NKBA certified, a fact he will post on the website.
